The Certificate Course on Criminal Defence Practice is a Continuing Legal Education Programme offered by The Square Circle Clinic at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
Designed specifically for trial court lawyers, the Programme aims to strengthen criminal defence practice in district and taluka courts by bridging the gap between law school training and the practical skills required for effective criminal defence work.
The Media Fellowship is a four-month programme running from December 2026 to March 2027. Moving beyond conventional media narratives, the Fellowship seeks to centre the lives of persons in conflict with the law towards building a new language and perspective. We are looking for 3 Fellows (two investigative journalists and a photojournalist) to join our 2026-27 cohort.
For regular communication with individuals sentenced to death that we represent, we offer internships to individuals proficient in different Indian languages.
This is a long term internship to develop, analyse, and disseminate our extensive death penalty data.
We offer 4-week internships (with a stipend) on a rolling basis for graduate and postgraduate students enrolled in law, humanities or social science programmes in our offices in Delhi, Pune and Nagpur.
